Autumn Update

Quick update time: last few months have been time-consuming with lots of demanding life things that don’t have to do with writing (family, job, etc.). This coming week, I’ll be having minor surgery that’ll keep me on bed-rest for about 3 weeks depending on healing. Luckily, it’s NaNoWriMo so that works out! I’m spending time for outside activities before then (lots of hiking~).

Anyway, this NaNoWriMo, I’m working on 5 main projects: 4 to completion and the last to prepare for the Dec-Feb writing period.

It is my hope to release a couple more books before the year’s end… I’m not exactly certain how feasible it is, but I am going to try. Yes, this includes another installment in the “I, the One” universe… though I might wait until Jan 2019 to release it.

Either way, I am moving forward. 2019 will be here soon enough and where I went wrong in my process for 2018, I plan on tweaking and resolving my process for 2019.

Paperbacks are important to me right now so I will continue to focus on getting them together for readers to enjoy and share.

The long-form novel series for “I, the One” universe and my cyberpunk series are slated for mid-late 2019 now because of the length required and my desire to do right by them.

Not a whole lot more to say, I’m off to hike for the remaining day and then enjoy a night of writing… then a week of writing (going for 180k words this NaNo), reading (currently reading 4 books: 2 non-fiction, 2 fiction), and possibly some light gaming with Citadel: Forged in Fire where I mostly derp around on a broomstick chasing elks and collecting wood… but I also recently got Ryse: Son of Rome so might give that a go.

In the meantime, check out Dimension Bucket’s horror magazine that features my short story “Don’t Look Back”, which introduces a new American-based horror world and a character I plan on revisiting in future stories. The debut issue has a ton of awesome authors. If you’re not familiar with the platform Gumroad, I sold my signed paperbacks of Reptilian Wanderer through them (they’re legit).

Next update will be in Feb/March 2019.
